1. Information Collection

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account and interact with the SnapCal service. This includes:

• Email address and authentication credentials.
• Basic physical data provided in your profile (weight, height, date of birth, sex).
• Nutritional data (calories, macronutrients, and food names) generated by your interactions.

2. ChatGPT and AI Data Processing

SnapCal integrates with OpenAI's ChatGPT to analyze your meals. Please note how data flows:

• Images of food are processed entirely within the ChatGPT interface.
• SnapCal DOES NOT collect, receive, or store your images.
• When you use the plugin, SnapCal receives the data sent through its tools, such as meal names, calories, macros, consumption dates, weight, and profile details. To show requested results, SnapCal returns meal logs, nutrition summaries, weight records, and profile details to ChatGPT depending on the tool used. We do not receive your full conversation.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain nutrition and profile data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time at snapcal.dev/en/delete-account. You can correct your profile data, including your date of birth, from your profile.

4. Data Security

We use secure and encrypted third-party infrastructure to store your credentials and user data. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, and alteration.

5. Sharing your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We will only share data with third parties when strictly necessary to operate the service (such as cloud databases), who are obligated to protect the confidentiality of the information.

6. Target Audience and Minimum Age

SnapCal is intended only for people aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. Age is based on what users declare. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 18, we may delete their account and data.
